Elyzabeth’s professional journey began in higher education, where she spent 26 years administering programs supporting and mentoring students, helping them grow into confident, capable adults. She loved the work and the relationships she built, but made the decision to leave her career to help her aging parents during their final years. It was those experiences that led to her career change and the critical importance of planning.
“As a result of the thoughtful financial planning they had done, as my parents entered their 80’s and 90’s, they were both able to remain at home as they aged, which as it is with many people was their greatest desire” Their health situation was very different, Dad had long term care insurance, but as a three-time cancer survivor, Mom was not eligible and needed to rely on their investments and assets” That experience left a lasting impression on Elyzabeth and is her driving passing to become part of the solutions, to help other families who don’t have a plan. Elyzabeth helps individuals and families prepare for the future before a crisis hits. She brings the heart of an educator and the perspective of a caregiver to her clients, helping design strategies for retirement, protection, caregiving and legacy.
For Elyzabeth, this isn’t just a career change—it’s a continuation of her calling to serve, support, and advocate. Now she helps people protect what matters most—so they can be there for the people who matter most which is one of the core values of Dedicated Financial Solutions, LLC.
